Santhigiri Institute of Management is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive and ragging-free campus in accordance with the regulations and guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted to prevent ragging, create awareness among students, monitor campus activities and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
All newly admitted students and their parents are required to submit a duly signed Anti-Ragging Undertaking at the time of admission, which remains valid throughout the student's period of study at the institution. The committee is responsible for addressing complaints, conducting necessary enquiries and recommending appropriate action in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and undertakes regular awareness initiatives to promote mutual respect, discipline and a positive campus culture while safeguarding the dignity and well-being of every student.
An Anti-Ragging awareness programme was conducted on 12 August 2025 with Mr. K D Maniyan, Sub Inspector of Police, Murickassery P S as the resource person.
